Hybrid working is here to stay, however, this doesn't mean you have to continue in a routine that has become the norm!
With a significant amount of our time spent working, it is vital that we have measures in place to ensure that our mental health needs are met.
This year, the Mental Health Foundation has focused on how stress has been one of the leading causes of poor mental health in recent times.
Interestingly, it has been found that high workloads/volumes of work is the cause of 𝟱𝟵% of stress for employees.
It is important that you take some time for yourself each day to prioritise your health to ensure that you are not over-working and achieve healthy mental and physical wellbeing .
Coach Andrew shares an effective way to take a break and enjoy the present moment:
"Being outdoors, surrounded by nature has many benefits. Something that I find extremely fulfilling, allowing me to focus on myself, is to take a walk outside! Why not try taking a walk everyday for 20-30 minutes, this could be on your lunch break, after work or even before work. Take in some fresh air, enjoy what is around you, be in the present moment. Try to limit your screen time, letting yourself be free from all the distractions and stresses. Maybe you'll even figure out some solutions to your problems, and help have a positive effect on your mental health"
